MASTER IN FASHION, BRANDING & COMMUNICATION - MIFAM

The Master in Fashion Marketing & Communication Management - MIFAM trains professionals to manage a brand’s voice and communication from every angle. From advertising campaigns and events to press releases, public relations, and social media, students will learn to handle the complete brand narrative.

In today’s rapidly evolving landscape, this role is more crucial than ever. Gen-Z and emerging market segments are transforming communication, media, and digital strategies, demanding new approaches to brand storytelling.

The world of fashion and luxury extends far beyond runway shows or photoshoots. Iconic brands embody a deep cultural identity, whether rooted in cutting-edge innovation or centuries of heritage. This identity is meticulous built through strategic branding and communication efforts, which hold the potential to determine the success or downfall of even the most renowned fashion houses. Mastering the art of highlighting and crafting communication that leaves a lasting impact is among the most intricate—and rewarding—roles in the fashion industry.

This program has been co-designed with Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana to prepare students to become the next generation of communication professionals, equipped to navigate the digital revolution in fashion. By understanding how to translate brand DNA, 'myth-making' strategies, and cultural heritage into new languages and experiences—whether digital or phygital—graduates will be ready to lead fashion brands through the future of communication.

Master: 1st level University Master accredited through Università della Campania Luigi Vanvitelli as formal academic qualifications in accordance with the standards set by the Italian Ministry of Education.

Duration of the Master: 1 year, 1200 hours

Internship: from Oct, 2026 

Location: BY PRESENCE on campus, Milan. Our programs are available in a blended format, combining both in-person and online learning to offer flexibility while maintaining an engaging, hands-on experience.

Director of the Master 2024/25: MARIA VITTORIA RONCHI, Master’s Director at Milano Fashion Institute

Maria Vittoria Ronchi is an expert in training within the Fashion & Luxury industry, specializing in branding, product, and retail, with a strong focus on communication and customer experience. She holds a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Università degli Studi di Milano Statale, with a major in aesthetics, arts, communication, and sociology, as well as a master’s degree from Milano Fashion Institute. Her career path has always been guided by a passion for communication, seamlessly blending her two main interests: people and product.

With over ten years of professional experience across more than five regions worldwide, Maria Vittoria has developed a unique perspective on the impact of communication. She has led public speaking events, designed customized learning programs, and delivered training sessions for companies and professionals. Her work focuses on defining and implementing the client experience strategy, aligning it with the brand’s retail excellence philosophy, while fostering a corporate culture based on product knowledge and awareness.

The digitalization of learning processes is a core aspect of her professional approach, aimed at delivering a cutting-edge omnichannel communication strategy. Since 2017, she has been collaborating as a contract professor with Milano Fashion Institute.
