MASTER IN FASHION, LICENSING & LUXURY MANAGEMENT - MIFALL

The Master's in Fashion, Licensing & Luxury Management – MIFALL at Milano Fashion Institute prepares students to navigate the dynamic world of luxury brands, where success goes beyond products to encompass a complete lifestyle. Luxury brands today create immersive worlds that blend fashion, design, beauty, jewelry, cosmetics, and experiences, providing customers with a distinctive, all-encompassing lifestyle.

This master's program, co-designed with Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana - CNMI (the Italian Fashion Council) to meet the specific needs of leading brands, equips students with the creative and strategic skills needed to build and enhance luxury brand identities. From understanding the business dynamics of the fashion and luxury sectors to mastering buying, merchandising, and digital marketing strategies, students are trained to confront future challenges. Key areas of focus include brand heritage, storytelling, and crafting unique customer experiences that elevate a brand’s core business and project it into new territories, ensuring long-term success and relevance.

Master: 1st level University Master accredited through Università della Campania Luigi Vanvitelli as formal academic qualifications in accordance with the standards set by the Italian Ministry of Education.

Duration of the Master: 1 year, 1200 hours

Director of the Master 2024/25: Arturo Dell'Acqua Bellavitis, Honorary Professor in Design, Politecnico di Milano

Architect, former president of the Triennale Design Museum in Milan for which he has developed the new concept of a changing museum and the different editorial lines on new Italian design, the masters and new looks on new design from far away countries He is Industrial Design full professor at the Design Faculty of the Politecnico di Milano, where he has covered the role of Dean of the School of Design and Head of the Design Department. Chief and Senior Professor of Textile Design degree course (Campus of Como, Politecnico of Milan) and Manager of Fashion Design degree courses (Campus Bovisa, Politecnico of Milan). He is one of the founders of the College of Design of the Politecnico and of the Interior Design PhD course. He lectured at the Universities of Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo, Barcelona, Montreal, Berlin, Shanghaj, Beijing, Orleans, Paris, Melbourne, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
